The Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS) is linked to both the applicant’s passport and Visa. Despite having a valid visa and passport, applicants are still required to enroll with EVUS to travel to the United States. The EVUS resgistration has a validity period of 2 consecutive years or until the applicant’s passport or Visa expires, whichever comes first.
To check your EVUS visa status, applicants will need their enrollment number. This is a unique number, linked to the applicant’s Electronic Visa Update System application. If an applicant loses their enrollment number they may still retrieve their EVUS enrollment by providing personal information, like full name, passport and Visa number.
